Enrollment Verification
Enrollment Verification is for admitted and current students. This letter can be found in My.Harvard once your student account is created. This letter includes students name, full/part time status, degree in progress, program and expected graduation date. If you need additional details added or if you do not have a student account you can contact us at Registrar@gse.harvard.edu to assist with this request.
Degree Verification
Degree Verification is for HGSE graduates, this letter can be requested to our office using the Degree Verification Request Form. This letter includes students’ name, full/part time status, degree earned, and dates enrolled. If you need additional details added you can make note of that on the request form.
3rd Party/ Employer Requestors
The Graduate School of Education issues all official degree verifications through The National Student Clearinghouse. This convenient online service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Who is this for?
HGSE alumni who have received a degree, Employers or outside organizations looking to verify a Harvard HGSE degree.
How to request a degree verification
- Visit the National Student Clearinghouse website.
- Click the Order-Select-Verify button at the top right. Select verify degrees and enrollment from the drop-down.
- Submit the required information.
- If a drop-down menu is provided, select Harvard Graduate School of Education.
- Pay the associated fee.
