#  Foundations (Online Ed.M. Students)  

 



The information below represents current plans for 2024; plans may be modified between now and the start of each course.

For online Ed.M. students, all Foundations courses take place online and synchronous sessions will be scheduled within regular class meeting hours for online students. Foundations courses are required for the Ed.M. degree.

June 3–July 16, 2024 (Second-year OEL students)

Note: We strongly recommend that all OEL students complete the course in the second summer, with your cohort. If you are unable to do so, you will be required to take Evidence later in your second year at a time typically set aside for electives, and you will work with program staff to determine when and how to complete your remaining required elective credits.



Equity &amp; Opportunity: Identity in Context (EQO11) 

2 credits 

Fall 1 (September 3-October 15, 2024) (First-year OEL students) 

Equity &amp; Opportunity elective 

 

One course in each Pathway is designed to integrate E&amp;O learning goals and commitments. Fulfilling your Pathways requirements will simultaneously fulfill your E&amp;O elective requirement. (All OEL students) 

Leading Change 

 

The learning goals and experiences that make up Leading Change have been incorporated into first- and second-year core courses that all students take. By fulfilling your program requirements, you will simultaneously meet the goals and expectations of Leading Change. (All OEL students)
