##  Course Registration Timeframe

 The Crimson Cart for HGSE courses will open to students on:

- **August 30th,** for all students who have checked-in.

 HGSE Courses in the Crimson Cart must be submitted by:

- **September 3rd** [(The Finish Enrolling button)](https://harvard.service-now.com/ithelp?id=kb_article&sys_id=6af11b09dbf94bc4a752f1a51d961984) You should register for the HGSE courses you know you will take by this deadline. [Cross-registered ](https://www.gse.harvard.edu/about/cross-registration)courses are not subject to the September 3rd HGSE deadline.

##  Adding and Dropping Courses

- Students who have enrolled in at least one course by September 3rd, can subsequently [add or drop](https://harvard.service-now.com/ithelp?id=kb_article&sys_id=9c5e6d82db670f04a914fff31d9619d1) courses without a fee. 
    - The add/drop/grade option deadline for HGSE **Full Term** courses and **Fall 1** modules is **September 21st**.
    - The add/drop/grade option deadline for HGSE courses and **Fall 2** modules is **TBD.** .

##  Auditing

 *Auditing any HGSE course with in-person elements is currently not permitted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Auditing online courses at HGSE is rarely permitted, and only a faculty member may allow an individual to audit an online course. There is no expectation that a faculty member will allow anyone, inside or outside the HGSE community, to audit or otherwise participate in a course without being enrolled for credit in the course.*
